I have always been up for a good, wholesome party, so this is not a difficult command for me. My husband Jay and I like to host gatherings in our house – not only do we enjoy it, but we feel like the Lord gave us this particular home for this purpose among others. At our recent Calvary women’s retreat my friend Wendy told me about a teaching that our dear sister Teresa Rinker gave on the blood of Christ. The essence of what the Lord spoke to me through Wendy was the necessity of honoring the blood of Christ – that Jesus’ blood is still living and active and we must honor it by receiving His complete work of forgiveness and freedom from sin.
