Evangelism
The Calvary Fellowship School of Evangelism is a course designed to equip you with practical tools to share the gospel. Utilizing the Evangelism Explosion training materials, the class offers a unique approach to spreading the good news of Jesus Christ. The class meets one night per week, for thirteen weeks. The weekly sessions include classroom instruction followed by team scenario training. Each week, you will learn a small portion of a gospel presentation, complete with illustrations and key scripture verses. The presentation of the gospel is a very clear and concise overview of the Lord's plan for receiving the gift of eternal life.
The class offers three levels of training, each to help you further progress in your ability to be an effective witness. Each student is placed in a team of three, including one advanced student who is the trainer for that team. Trainers will meet with their team members once a week to assist with learning the gospel presentation.
The School of Evangelism students range from those who have been witnessing to others for years and are looking for another method of sharing their faith, to those who have wanted to share but were not sure how to get a conversation started. In this class you will learn how to share your faith from start to finish, including techniques to begin a conversation, methods to keep the person interested in the topic of eternal life, suggestions to stay focused on the real issues and strategies for handling objections.
Whether you've been sharing your faith for years or have never before felt comfortable speaking out about your faith, this class is a good starting point.
