Calvary Fellowship is associated with Calvary Chapel of Costa Mesa, California, founded and pastored by Chuck Smith. Chuck was greatly used by God to help bring about the "Jesus Movement" of the late 1960s and early 1970s, and he is the author/teacher of the national radio program Word for Today. The Calvary Chapel movement has spawned over 1300 churches in the United States and around the world.
Being a new person in a church is not necessarily a comfortable feeling. We at Calvary Fellowship want to try and take the discomfort away. First, by asking God to help us provide an atmosphere of acceptance and love. Secondly, by being friendly, but without being annoyingly aggressive. Some people want to check out a church without being "cornered", and we respect that. We know that if someone is being ministered to, they will naturally begin to "plug in" to the fellowship.
So, we at Calvary Fellowship welcome you to our church. We hope you sense the love and presence of Jesus among us, for He is here (Matthew 18:20).
